What host agencies need to know
Hosting a course is straightforward, but the right facility, coordinator, enrollment plan, and signed agreement need to be in place before the course is confirmed.
How hosting works
Follow the basic hosting sequence before submitting the signed agreement to SSGT.
Select the course path your agency wants to host.
Review the appropriate hosting agreement.
Confirm facility, equipment, and coordinator requirements.
Complete and sign the agreement.
Scan and email the signed agreement to Johnny Lee Smith.
Choose the right access model
SSGT courses may be hosted as open-registration training for qualified outside personnel or restricted-registration training limited to the host agency.
Open Registration
Training is open to qualified outside personnel from law enforcement, military, corrections, and approved security agencies. SSGT manages student registration and tuition collection.
Restricted Registration
Training is limited to personnel from the host agency. Tuition and enrollment are handled directly by the host agency.
Plan around the course minimums
These enrollment numbers help host agencies understand the basic course confirmation requirements before submitting an agreement.
