The SSGT & Equalizer Instructor Conference will once again be held at the LeConte Hotel & Convention Center in beautiful Pigeon Forge, TN. This conference will include: Equalizer Women’s Self-defense Instructor certification and/or re-certification; SSGT Edged Weapon Survival: Introduction; SSGT Vanguard Levels One & Two Updates; Advanced Handgun Tactics (with Blue/Red Guns) with SGM Jack Nevils – SF (Ret.); and the and introduction to the all new COR-Tactics Program for Corrections/Jailers.
Additionally, Jack Nevils will be providing a preview of the recently released SSGT Firearms Instructor Program. Our goal with this program is to raise the bar on Firearms Instructor Certification. You will not want to miss this!
As always, Johnny Lee SmithDaniel O’Brien (Pan American Gold Medalist & Multi-time Kakuto Champion) will be teaching a Jiu-jitsu seminar on Sunday. We will also have our Banquet Dinner on Monday night.
We are also going to have the Fourth “Master Top-Notch Instructor” competition with great prizes.

Equalizer Instructor Certification & Recertification

Master Top Notch Instructor Competition Rules:

-Open to all Certified SSGT Instructors.
-Not open to Instructor Trainers or Board Members
-Competitors will teach a technique out of the Level of their
choice; Vanguard One or Vanguard Two.
-Competitors will not know what technique they are going to
teach until they arrive at the conference. (Competitors will
have from the day of their arrival until Wednesday night to prepare.)
-Techniques will be chosen at random by SSGT Board Members.
-Competitors will be given no more than eight (8) minutes to
teach their subject back.
-Non-competing conference participants will judge the competition.
-Competitors will choose their own assistant for teach-back.
-Assistants are not allowed to correct or help competitors in any way.
-The limited use of books and note cards will be allowed.
-Powerpoint presentations and charts will not be allowed.
Great prizes will be awarded to the first and second place winners!
